Precision Dyno Training offers two-day training courses for Harleys with Power Vision Original, Power Vision 3, and Power Commander 6 using C3 software and Tuning Link, and metric bikes with PC6.

With on-site training and support from instructor and technical specialist Les Horst, you and your team will become the masters of your tuning offering. With our extensive knowledge and experience, we provide the training and support you need to optimize the performance of any bike while using the Dyno monitor series of tools.

Les Horst

Les has been immersed in the motorcycle industry for over 40 years, bringing a wealth of experience across various roles. He started as an independent shop owner, running his business for two decades, and later transitioned into education as a dyno class instructor at the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute. Les is the founder and lead instructor of Precision Dyno Training. With 12 years of experience owning and operating Horst Power Performance, a mobile dyno tuning business, Les has become a sought-after instructor, providing dyno training at dealers and independent shops across the U.S. and Canada for the past four years.

  • This course provides comprehensive training on dyno components, setup, and motorcycle preparation. Participants will learn to set up the PowerCore WinPEP 8 software, perform basic horsepower and torque runs, and conduct diagnostic and troubleshooting tests. Additionally, the course will cover connecting O2 sensors for air/fuel readings. Training on the C3 software for Power Vision will also be included, focusing on setting up the motorcycle, Power Vision, and Tuning Link for accurate tuning.

    For any additional support after those 90 days, Precision will invoice $150/hour for tech and troubleshooting.

  • Right now, we offer one comprehensive dyno training at your location or at one of our sites in New Smyrna Beach, FL, or Salt Lake City, UT. There is no need to choose both training options as the course inclusions are the same.
